Dance Team Prep
ADC is the leading authority in Dance and Drill Team Preparation classes, due to our large success with these classes, they quickly become full. This class is offered at two separate levels, a Middle School class for those approaching Middle School, and High School Prep class for those entering or at the High School Level. Dance Prep prepares students to try out for drill or dance team. Emphasis is on flexibility, high kick form, and precision dance techniques. ADC uniquely specializes in training students in the art of “precision” dance.
Leaps & Turns
A specialty class designed to teach proper technique for turns (chaines, pirouettes, piques, axels, fouette turns, etc.) and leaps (grand jetes, tour jetes, switch leaps, Russians, etc.) We recommend this class to be taken along with a student’s regular dance class but not in place of their dance class.
Students who would like individual or small group (no more than four) lesson(s) may do so by taking private classes. Privates are available in all areas of dance. Please call to schedule a private lesson or to inquire about the rates.
A special note to those that are specifically training to audition for drill team, dance team, or officer: Do not delay your training. The earlier you begin the more prepared you will be. Do not wait until January to start training for an audition that is in March, April or May. Students and parents must realize the commitment level needed for training. Inconsistent training will give inconsistent results.
